As part of its ongoing process of expansion, the company from Valencia, specialized in the telecommunications sector, has enlarged its factory in Granada.
The enlargement of the new factory in Granada of ESB SISTEMAS, a company based in Valencia, has entailed an important investment. With this enlargement the company plans to manufacture approximately 400 camouflaged antenna units per year, thus doubling its annual turnover with this type of product.
“This investment positions ESB SISTEMAS as the major European manufacturer for this type of system, with the capacity to provide complete solutions to telephone operators all over the world.”
According to Mr. Manuel Aguirianor, the company’s Director General, “At ESB SISTEMAS, we are firmly committed to research, development and innovation, the best path to achieving strong growth.”
The new factory comprises 1,800 m²divided into different sections, including an area for logistics and assembly, an area for pre-measurement of complete systems, an area for assembly of the final product, storage and shipping to customers, with offices integrated in these facilities.
The new factory manufactures camouflage antenna systems of the Ecosite family for mobile telephony. Moreover, ESB plans to enlarge the facilities with an Rfid (radio frequency identification) system showroom where replicas of installations and projects requested by customers can be made. This technology will enable providing solutions for many client-related needs of the IoT sectorand 4.0 industry.
The factory is equipped with the technology and machinery required for the sector. For metal processes, it has different assembly, cutting and welding machinery, an overhead crane to handle complete antenna systems of up to 5 m. high, and top brand qualified technical tools. For radio frequency processes the factory has a horizontal anechoic chamber to measure the ROE and PIM of panels, and another 4 m. high and 3×3 m. long rectangular anechoic chamber that allows measuring vertical antennas by making an exact replica of the location where they will subsequently be installed. This second anechoic chamber measures ROE, PIM and shielding of the antennas in functional bands ranging from 690 to 2800 MHz, PIM and Network analyzers.
The factory is located at Polígono Industrial La Rosa, Avenida Primero de Mayo. Naves 3 y 5 18330 Chauchina (Granada)
